Reverence Beyond the Veil
By Bob Pickering
I was working in the baptistry the other day when two young women came in for confirmations. They were very quiet and reverent as they performed ordinances. While confirming them their example of reverence influenced me and I was especially focused. During the ordinance I felt the presence of others in the room beyond the veil. I felt prompted to let the girls know of this. They simply smiled and nodded as if it was something fairly common for them. Their example to me of reverence is something I’ll remember and try to do more of especially at the temple. Reverence spreads.
